Anyone feeling fat?

I would love to get an exercise group together! We could go walking with kids, running, stair climbing (stadium bleachers work well), or whatever. I would just like to get outside while the weather is still good and I don't want to go by myself. Let me know if and when you are interested.

Hallie and I LOVE the zoo! We have a season pass also and can bring in one friend for free! Any day but Thursday would work this week. The bird show is fabulous and the carousel is right outside!

This is Jeana Rasmussen. I don't have a gmail account so I have to sign in under Adam's which is the screamineagle91 account. So if you ever need to e-mail me send it to JeanaJean3@aol.com. We got a season pass to the Zoo this year and Landon loves to go. So if anyone wants to go, just let me know :) and we can plan a group trip!

Homemade Ice Cream in a Bag

I found this fun Homemade Ice Cream recipe at FamilyFun.com. We made it with the girls up at girls camp and it was a big hit! One side note though, when mixing the ice cream you may want to wrap the bag in a towel; the girls' poor hands were pretty cold after this activity!

Ingredients:
* 2 tablespoons sugar
* 1 cup half and half
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1/2 cup salt (The bigger the granules, the better. Kosher or rock salt works best, but table salt is fine)
* Ice cubes (enough to fill each gallon-size bag about half full)
* 1 pint-size ziplock bag
* 1 gallon-size ziplock bag

Directions:
1. Combine the sugar, half and half, and vanilla extract in the pint-size bag and seal it tightly.

2. Place the salt and ice in the gallon-size bag, then place the sealed smaller bag inside as well. Seal the larger bag. Now shake the bags until the mixture hardens (about 5 minutes). Feel the small bag to determine when it's done (it should be the consistency of frozen yogurt).

3. Take the smaller bag out of the larger one, add mix-ins, and eat the ice cream right out of the bag. Easy cleanup too! Serves 1

I want to do a PD on Wednesday September 3rd. Lets meet at Janika's at 10am. We will be walking to the park so bring a stroller and a sack lunch.
